Abstract

This edited collection, part of I.B. Tauris's "Investigating Cult TV" series, offers a scholarly examination of Ronald D. Moore's reimagined Battlestar Galactica (2004–2009). The volume brings together contributions from ten academics and critics, along with an interview with writer-producer Jane Espenson, to explore the series' treatment of politics, gender, religion, militarism, sexuality, and the aesthetics of science fiction television.
