We are pleased to announce that our journal has been officially recognized by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR) as a Scientific Journal in Area 11 (Human Sciences)

25.09.2025

We are honored to announce that our journal has been officially recognized by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR) as a Scientific Journal in Area 11 (Human Sciences).

This recognition was granted following the successful evaluation of our application (ID No. 46060), submitted through the CINECA platform in accordance with the criteria established by the ANVUR Regulation for the Classification of Journals in CUN Areas 8a, 10, 11a, 12, 13, and 14. The decision, ratified by the Governing Board Resolution No. 199 of 04 September 2025, confirms that our journal meets both the general and the disciplinary requirements outlined by ANVUR.

General requirements include:

  • the regularity and continuity of publications,

  • the accessibility of published materials to the wider academic community,

  • the transparent and diverse composition of the editorial board,

  • the rigorous adherence to ethical publishing standards,

  • the maintenance of robust and impartial peer-review procedures.

Disciplinary requirements for Area 11 (Human Sciences) emphasize that the journal demonstrates:

  • correct and consistent use of recognized methodological approaches,

  • strong capacity for critical analysis,

  • precision and accuracy in bibliographic documentation,

  • contribution to the advancement of national and international scholarly debate within the humanities.

By being officially listed among the recognized scientific journals in Area 11, our journal strengthens its position as a credible and authoritative platform for researchers and academics. This achievement underscores our continuing commitment to fostering academic dialogue, interdisciplinary perspectives, and innovative approaches across the wide spectrum of Human Sciences.

Beyond a mere mark of quality, this recognition reflects our continuing endeavor to situate the journal at the intersection of neuroscience and philosophy—an intellectual bridge across disciplines, cultures, and research traditions. In the spirit of neurophilosophy, we aspire to create an inclusive space where theoretical reflection and empirical inquiry converge, enabling both established scholars and emerging voices to share their perspectives. In this way, the journal affirms its role not only as a repository of scientific knowledge but also as an active forum for critical discussion, debate, and the circulation of ideas that enrich both the academic community and society at large.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our editorial board members, peer reviewers, authors, and readers. Their intellectual contributions, critical engagement, and unwavering support have been instrumental in reaching this important milestone. This recognition belongs as much to them as to the journal itself.

Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to upholding the highest standards of academic publishing, broadening our international reach, and continuing to support research that challenges assumptions, stimulates critical reflection, and advances understanding in the Human Sciences.

Call for Papers

In light of this recognition, we warmly invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners in the field of Human Sciences to contribute to our upcoming issues. We welcome original research articles, critical essays, theoretical contributions, and interdisciplinary studies that advance knowledge and stimulate academic discussion.

Submissions are expected to adhere to the highest scholarly standards, including methodological rigor, clarity of argumentation, and relevance to ongoing debates in the humanities. All contributions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic integrity.

By publishing with us, authors will become part of a journal that is now officially recognized within the ANVUR Area 11 classification, ensuring visibility and credibility within the Italian and international academic communities.

We look forward to receiving your contributions and to continuing our shared commitment to excellence in research and scholarship.
